Compassionate Pet End-of-Life Care

When there are more bad days than good ones, and the end of life is near, often the greatest gift we can give our pets is the opportunity to pass gently from this world with as little pain as possible. At San Pablo Animal Hospital, our doctors will be there to help you make that decision. They will help you assess your pet’s quality of life and offer advice about further treatment options or supportive care to make your pet as comfortable as possible during its final time with you. When the end is near, we can schedule an appointment for a compassionate euthanasia if necessary. Our staff can assist you with options available for burial or cremation of your pet. We also offer a Grief Library to help you deal with the loss of your beloved pet.
